A great book for children to see that just because they are not exactly what is needed, they still have a lot to offer You should always give something someone the benefit of the doubt and they may be just what you need A story of the cow who wishes for fun and adventures, so she becomes a fire station mascot yawn Boring story Boring illustrations.

It s a cute enough story but the illustrations aren t very vibrant or clear.
So my son loves it, so I have to give it 3 stars Also, I love the trope of having to earn the grumpy old Chief s respect Way to show a three dimensional character in a little kid s book The illustrations are so bad that my 4 year old asked why the cow s hoof looks like a camel s Also, I recommend reading it just to see the firefighters pants Too funny.
I loved the premise of this book, and how Daisy set about to prove that she was the right mascot, even though she was not the one the firehouse had been looking for This is a good lesson for kids about not giving up the pursuit of what they want, and putting the effort in to make it happen.
